By Road: Wherever you come from by car, South West Wales is not only easy to get to - the journey is often as picturesque as you could wish. From the north and the Midlands, you can leave the M1 south of Nottingham and travel via the M42 onto the M5.
For a more scenic route you can leave at Junction 8 on the M5 and travel along the M50 to Ross on Wye and then south via the A40 to the M4 at Junction 24 near Newport; after that just keep heading West! From the South West take the M5, and if you're coming from London the M4 will take you all the way across the Severn Estuary and onto Swansea and beyond.
By Rail: For travel through Wales and it's regions and especially that scenic coast-hugging route to Carmarthen and Swansea and beyond, Arriva Trains operate many services from throughout the UK. If you're travelling from London, there are direct journeys to the region run by First Great Western.
Both Stage Coach and National Express operate regular services every day between major British cities and destinations in South West Wales, and within Wales you'll find Wales Bus very handy for getting around.
