From the very heart of the South coast, Southampton has always been ideally placed as a as a departure point for travel - from the Pilgrim Fathers departures to the Americas, its historic links with the tragic story of RMS Titanic, and of course its docks and quaysides have been home to some of the worlds great ocean liners such as the RMS Aquitania, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth II, and Queen Mary II.

Southampton is a lively, modern seaport city of about 200,000 inhabitants. Its excellent transport links and central location make it the perfect place as a 'base camp' for visitors not only wanting to explore this fascinating & vibrant city but for those wishing to explore and sample the delights of London, the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, Winchester, Bournemouth and the Dorset coast.

The Isle of Wight is the perfect place to unwind and to enjoy a relaxing break, at any time of year. Visitors will find a true gem of an island boasting unspoilt and visually stunning scenery, a wealth of fascinating shops and attractions, and an island rich in cultural heritage. For the more adventurous and energetic, there are plenty of sports facilities, including windsurfing, sailing and paragliding.
