Plymouth's Places to Shop

When it comes to retail therapy, Plymouth has it all. This is the south-west's premier shopping city. Because the centre was completely re-built after WWII, the four main shopping streets of New George, Royal Parade, Mayflower and Cornwall streets are all laid out on a convenient, modern grid system, with Armada Way cutting through the middle as it sweeps up to the sea and Plymouth Hoe. All the big high street names are here, ringed by easy-access car parks.

Elsewhere in the city you'll find an interesting selection of shops selling everything from souvenirs to books - with always a comfortable hostelry or cafe on hand in which to relax.
