Leeds's Places to Shop
The Victoria Quarter, with it's fabulous arcade and stained glass roof, is without doubt one of the UK's most beautiful shopping centres - and apart from a glittering array of designer outlets it's here that you'll find the first Harvey Nichols store outside London. Briggate is a terrific retail experience with all the top high street names.
Kirkgate Market is attended by over 800 traders and is housed in ornate Edwardian buildings as well as having a huge open air market. Kirkgate is also the site on which the twice monthly Farmer's Markets are held.
Built in 1865 The Corn Exchange has been the hub of the city's commerce for 140 years. Today, this beautiful Victorian building is a cornucopia of designer outlets, coffee shops, jewellers and bookstores.
