By Road: Wherever you come from by car, Glasgow is not only easy to get to - the journey is equally as rewarding as your arrival. From the north of England and the Midlands, you can pass by the urban areas around Birmingham straight onto the M6 and once past Carlisle the M74 will take you straight to Glasgow.
You may fancy travelling up the eastern side of Britain to Edinburgh and approaching Glasgow by driving west along the quick and convenient M8 motorway.
By Rail: For travel into Scotland and it's regions Scotrail operate many services from throughout the UK. If you're travelling from London, there are direct journeys to the region run by First Great Western.
Both Stagecoach and
National Express run very regular services to the area seven days per week, and there are very busy regular train schedules from a selection of rail operators from major stations around the UK.
