Gorgeous scenery and stunning beaches instantly come to mind when thinking of Eastbourne. This traditional resort town, boasts five miles of unspoilt beaches, palm tree lined promenades, golf courses and some of Britain's cleanest Blue Flag sea. The town has long established itself as an ideal holiday destination; offering family fun that encompasses water sports, a Victorian pier, and many exciting theme parks.

The town itself has a long history and visitors can indulge themselves in the various heritage sites doted around the area. You can explore military history at the Redoubt fortress, wander around charming castles, or visit the Long Man of Wilmington on his steep hill.

The town provides an antidote to stressful living with its continental style restaurants and cafes. You can lose time shopping around the waterfront shops or simply recline in a deck chair. Eastbourne also attracts sailors from around the world who use the Sovereign Harbor Marina, which is one of the largest marinas in Europe.

Many people come here to see the remarkable South Downs scenery. The Downs have a well established reputation for great walking and cycling holidays. Taking in the majestic sights of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters is something that all visitors to the south coast should indulge themselves in.
