In the Yorkshire Dales, nature has provided us with such a bounty that the very landscape is an attraction. The scenery is studded with fascinating things to see and do. There are fabulous waterfalls, deep, dark and mysterious caves, medieval castles and fascinating museums. You’ll discover stately homes, country houses and beautifully landscaped gardens. There are atmospheric places of worship including abbeys, churches and even a 7th century cathedral, each possessing it’s own remarkable history.
You’ll find unusual pottery and other unique arts and crafts. You'll be able to see how such Yorkshire delicacies as Wensleydale Cheese is made and then complement the experience with a visit to a brewery and witness the brewing of some of Britain’s finest ales. There is fun for all the family too with attractions especially suited for children - there's even a fun fair - the choice is yours. Those places we visited in our show are listed below, together with their contact details and web sites.
